VSE - VALUE STAINLESS EXHAUST-ONLY HOOD – ETL LISTED
An ETL certification means that this product has been tested to set safety standards. The certification comes from Intertek’s Electrical Testing Labs. Like UL, Intertek is an OSHA Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory with the goal of creating safe working and living environments. They provide assurance, testing, inspection, and certification services. Intertek tests to various standards, including UL, ULC, ASME, ASTM, ANSI, CSA, NFPA, NOM, and NSF.
For light to heavy cooking, the VSE, exhaust-only hood, is the best for most wall mount commercial hood applications, where cross ventilation is possible in the kitchen areas. It works well with high or low ceilings. The VSE- style hood features the same superior standards and top-quality materials as our restaurant hoods. Available in 100% stainless steel. Aluminum filters and grilles. Exhaust-only hoods is an effective and economical mean to remove grease-laden effluents in a kitchen as they remove heat, moisture, and odors. The main goal of this hood is to create a more comfortable environment for those working in the kitchen by removing excess heat and moisture from the air. Instead of a bank of hood filters, they have a duct collar that exhausts the contaminated air.
This hood style needs to be installed where cooking or dishwashing equipment produce heat, or steam. They are not typically required for under the counter dishwashers, pot washers with water vapor exhaust systems, light-duty convection ovens.
